Outpost Elysium takes place in an post-apocalyptic world. It’s not mainly about the gritty struggle for daily survival or the endless hunt for food and water. In our wasteland priorities are a little different. It’s where you’re more likely to stress over having enough caps to buy that two-string banjo than where your next meal is coming from. It’s less about aiming for realism and more about embracing the awesome aesthetics and great playability. Think the retro-futuristic charm of Fallout, the iconic sunbaked vibes of Mad Max, or the chaotic energy of Borderlands.
If you’re coming from the BBR campaign, you know what kind of atmosphere and setting we want, but keep in mind that Outpost Elysium plays by different rules. This isn’t a world of deadly shootouts and non-stop action. There’s zero airsoft, and we have a strong focus on verbal, immersive roleplay.
